[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시가 오는 2월 1일부터 타고가야 공영자전거 서비스를 확대 운영한다.
2020년 12월 전국 최초로 공유 전기자전거와 무선 충전 스테이션을 구축한 시는 잦은 고장, 수선으로 원활한 서비스 제공이 어려워지자 2023년 12월 서비스를 잠정 중단했다.
시는 이 같은 공영자전거 직영으로 인한 투자 관리 비용을 절감하고 그간 제기된 이용자 불편 사항과 운영관리 문제 개선을 위해 민간의 공유자전거 플랫폼 서비스를 2024년 5월부터 도입해 운영 중이다.
다음달 1일부터는 전기자전거를 기존 100대에서 50대를 더 늘려 총 150대를 운영한다.
대여소 또한 기존 15개소에서 15개소를 추가 확충해 총 30개소를 운영해 원도심에 집중돼 있던 기존 시스템에서 장유, 진영, 활천, 삼안, 불암 지역에 대여소를 추가함으로써 서비스 불균형을 해소하고 시민들의 접근성을 높인다.
만 13세 이상이면 누구나 이용 가능하며 이용 시간은 오전 7시부터 오후 10시까지다.
요금은 기본 30분 이용에 500원, 추가 10분당 200원으로 매우 저렴하다.
기기 무단 방치로 인한 안전사고 예방과 보행 불편 민원 해소를 위해 앱상에 반납 장소로 표시된 대여소의 거치대에만 기기를 반납해야 한다.
이를 어기면 벌금 2만원과 이용 정지 등의 제재가 따르므로 주의가 요구된다.
