[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 지난 23일 시청 대회의실에서 ‘김해시 지속가능발전 위원회’ 위촉식을 개최했다.
위원회는 안경원 부시장을 위원장으로 경제.사회.환경 등 전문가 27명(당연직 14, 위촉직 13)으로 구성됐다.
당연직 위원은 김해시 실국소장으로, 위촉직은 시의원, 지속가능발전협의회 및 시민단체·학계·경제계의 지식과 경험이 풍부한 자로 엄정 선정됐다.
김해시 지속가능발전 위원회는 지속가능발전 기본전략 및 추진계획 수립.변경에 관한 사항, 추진계획의 협의.조정 및 추진상황 점검에 관한 사항, 지속가능발전 지표 개발.보급 및 지속가능성 평가에 관한 사항 등 주요 정책, 계획과 시행에 관한 사항을 심의.의결한다. 임기는 2년이다.
시는 2022년 7월 지속가능발전 기본법 시행에 따라 그해 11월 김해시 지속가능발전 기본 조례를 제정하고 2024년 9월부터 김해시 지속가능 기본전략 및 추진계획 수립을 추진하고 있다
시는 4월 초 위원회를 열고 김해시 지속가능발전 기본전략 및 추진계획을 심의한다.
홍태용 시장은 “위원회가 김해시 정책의 지속가능성을 심어주는 중요한 역할을 할 것”이라면서 함께 그리는 미래, 지속가능한 김해 만들기를 위해 위원들의 적극적인 활동을 당부했다.
