[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 최근 잇단 공장 화재에 관내 기업체에 시장 명의 공장 화재 예방 서한문을 발송했다고 17일 밝혔다.
서한문은 용접·용단 작업 시 안전수칙 준수와 소방시설 유지관리 철저, 직원·종사자 화재 예방 교육 실시, 취약 시간대 자체 순찰 강화 등 화재 예방과 초기 대응을 위한 철저한 안전관리를 강조하고 있다.
김해시는 전국 제조업체 수 3위권에 속하는 제조업 중심도시로서 국가 산업 발전의 중추적인 역할을 수행하고 있다.
이에 김해시는 공장 관계자의 책임감 있는 안전점검과 화재 예방의 중요성을 지속적으로 강조하고 있다.
홍태용 시장은 “공장 화재는 한 번 발생하면 피해가 상당한 만큼 공장 관계자들이 다시 한번 안전의식을 다지고 스스로 화재 예방에 앞장설 것을 당부드린다”고 밝혔다.
