[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 청년어울림센터 Station-G와 김해청년열정공장이 김해청년 네트워크 확장을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 24일 밝혔다.
협약식은 김해청년열정공장의 제안으로 이뤄졌으며 지난 21일 청년어울림센터(Station-G 삼방)에서 김해청년열정공장 서성현 위원장과 Station-G 김정인 센터장 등 양측 주요 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.
양 센터와 단체는 △청년정책, 네트워킹 프로그램 공동개발 및 참여 △청년 대상 사업 및 프로그램 홍보 △지역 청년 활동가 모집 △청년 네트워크 인프라 구축 등 김해 청년 커뮤니티 활성화를 위해 협력해 나가기로 약속했다.
시는 2021년 김해청년다옴 운영을 시작으로 2024년에는 거점형 청년센터 청년어울림센터 Station-G 장유와 삼방을 차례로 개소해 청년센터(공간)의 저변을 넓혀왔다. 특히 청년의 요구와 트렌드를 반영한 센터별 특화사업은 좋은 반응을 얻고 있다.
김해청년열정공장과 청년어울림센터 Station-G는 김해시 청년정책과 연계한 맞춤형 프로그램 개발로 청년 네트워킹의 새로운 모델을 구축하는 동시에 수도권 등 외부로의 청년 유출 방지에도 노력한다.
김해청년열정공장 서성현 위원장은 “이번 협약을 계기로 지역 청년들이 더 활발히 교류하고 다양한 기회를 창출할 수 있기를 바란다”며 “우리의 공동목표인 청년들이 함께 성장할 수 있는 기반 마련을 위해 계속해서 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
청년어울림센터 Station-G 김정인 센터장은 “청년들이 주체적으로 참여하고 꿈을 키워나갈 수 있도록 센터 본연의 역할을 다하겠다”며 “이번 협약이 지역사회 내 청년 성장의 중요한 출발점이 되기를 기대한다”고 말했다.
김해청정공장은 매년 청년 참여를 위한 청년정책 해커톤 대회를 개최해오고 있으며 청년과 정책, 서비스를 연결하는 네트워킹 허브 역할을 톡톡히 하고 있다.
