【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시의회(의장 이동협)는 28일 경주시의회 본회의장에서 열린 제289회 임시회 제2차 본회의를 끝으로 9일간의 임시회 일정을 마쳤다.

본회의에 앞서 최재필 의원은 ‘경주를 세계에 알리기 위한 관광 전략’을 주제로 5분 자유발언을 진행했다. 이어 본회의에서는 6건의 의원발의 조례안을 포함하여 11건의 조례안, 4건의 동의안, 1건의 의견청취안, 1건의 공유재산 관리계획 변경안 등 총 17건의 안건에 대해 심의가 진행됐다.
심의 결과, '경주시 농산물가공종합지원센터 설치 및 운영 조례안'은 수정가결되었으며, 「경주시 산내면 풍력발전시설 조성에 따른 영구시설물 축조 동의안」은 보류됐다. 나머지 안건들은 채택되거나 원안대로 가결됐다.
이동협 경주시의회 의장은 본회의를 시작하며 “전국적으로 발생한 산불로 인한 희생자들의 명복을 빌며, 유가족께 위로의 말씀을 드린다”며 “부상자들의 조속한 쾌유와 산불의 신속한 진화를 통해 더 이상의 인명피해가 발생하지 않기를 간절히 희망한다”고 전했다. 또한, 경주시의회 의원 모두가 피해 지역의 빠른 복구와 일상의 회복을 기원하고 있음을 밝혔다.
한편, 경주시의회는 4월 24일 제290회 임시회를 열고 2025년도 제1회 추가경정예산안과 조례안 및 기타 안건들을 처리할 예정이다.

The remaining agenda items were adopted or passed as originally proposed.
Lee Dong-hyeop, Chairman of Gyeongju City Council, began the plenary session by saying, “I pray for the souls of the victims of the forest fires that occurred nationwide and offer my condolences to their families,” and “I sincerely hope that the injured recover quickly and that the forest fires are quickly extinguished so that there will be no more casualties.” He also stated that all members of the Gyeongju City Council are praying for the speedy recovery of the affected areas and the return to daily life.
Meanwhile, the Gyeongju City Council will hold the 290th extraordinary session on April 24 to process the first supplementary budget for 2025, ordinances, and other agenda items.
