더불어민주당 서삼석 국회의원(영암‧무안‧신안)은 1일(화) 국토교통부(이하 국토부)로부터 공항 운영재개 추진 계획 수립 및 정기노선 운항 확대와 피해지역 지원 등 무안공항 조기 재 개항과 공항 이용 활성화를 위한 대책을 전달받았다고 밝혔다.

서 의원은 지난 3월 14일 무안국제공항의 조기 재 개항 및 개항 이후 공항 활성화를 위해 국토부에 ▲무안국제공항의 조속한 재 개항 및 운영재개 일정 제시 ▲정기노선 유치를 위한 대책 ▲기존 공항 운항사에 대한 운수권 및 슬롯(공항 이착륙 횟수) 우대 ▲참사 피해지역 인근 사업자 피해 지원 촉구 등의 내용이 담긴 건의서를 국토교통부 장관에게 전달했다.
