이번 행사는 전년도 구리시 독서왕에 대한 시상식과 함께 세계 책의 날을 기념하고, 아이부터 어르신까지 전 세대가 어울릴 수 있는 마술 공연·전시·책 놀이 체험 부스·로봇·드론·태양 관측 등 다양한 프로그램을 마련하여 개최한다.
장자호수공원 메인무대에서는 10시부터 캘리그라피 퍼포먼스(식전 공연), 기념식, 마술 공연 순으로 진행하여 볼거리 가득한 책 축제로 관람객들의 시선을 모을 예정이다.
