(양주=브레이크뉴스 경기동북부)하인규 기자=양주시가 최근 충북 제천시에 소재한 ‘안전보건공단 제천 안전체험교육장’에서 중대재해 예방을 위한 공무원 대상 안전 체험교육을 실시했다고  밝혔다.

이번 교육은 양주시의 현업 및 도급 사업 현장을 관리·감독하는 공무원 30명(관리감독자 및 도급 사업 담당자)을 대상으로 진행됐으며 실제 산업현장에서 발생할 수 있는 다양한 재해 상황을 가상 체험할 수 있도록 구성됐다.

참여자들은 ▲고소작업 중 추락 사고 체험, ▲감전·질식·화재 상황 대응 훈련 개인 보호구 착용 실습, ▲VR 가상 체험 등 실감형 안전 체험 프로그램을 통해 산업재해의 위험성과 대응 요령을 몸소 익혔다.

시는 이번 교육을 통해 공무원들의 현장 안전관리 역량을 강화하고 도급 현장에 대한 안전보건 의식 확산을 유도함으로써 공공부문에서의 중대재해 예방 기반을 한층 강화할 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다.

문은경 안전건설과장은 “앞으로도 정기적인 안전교육과 체험형 학습 기회를 확대해 공무원이 직접 체득한 안전 문화를 현장에 적용할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
