양평군은 노인일자리 수요 증가에 능동적으로 대처하고, 지역 특성을 고려한 맞춤형 일자지 발굴을 위해 2023년부터 양평시니어클럽 설치 계획을 수립해 왔다. 또한 지난해 공개 모집을 통해 수탁법인으로 사회복지법인 ‘위드-캔복지재단’을 선정하고, 올해 1월 설치를 완료했다.
