재한 중국재한교민협회 주최로 4월 23일 서울 앰배서더 풀만호텔에서 물리화학자이며 중국 제20차 중앙위원, 중국전국귀국화교연합회 당서기 겸 주석 등의 고위인사 ‘만리쥔’의 방한 행사가 열렸다. 이 날 주한 중국대사 ‘다이 빙’의 축사로 시작되어 특별히 눈길을 끌었던 순서는 한한령 해제를 위한 K POP 한중평화협회 출범식이었다.

이렇듯 성숙된 K POP 열기를 중국 팬들이 직접 눈앞에서 체험할 수 있는 K POP 콘서트의 중국진출 필요성은 매우 고조된 상태다. 이에 새롭게 출범한 ‘K POP 한중평화협회’가 한중간의 문화 인프라가 되고자 이날 6개 단체(동아시아공동체연구소, 세계우애재단, 중국재한교민협회 총회, 한화중국평화통일촉진연합총회, 한국저작권단체연합회, 중화국제문화교류협회)가 공식 협약식을 가졌다.
이에 ‘K POP 한중평화협회’ 대표회장인 동아시아공동체연구소 한국본부장 신부호 회장은 “평화적 음악문화의 강물은 이미 양국 젊은이들 가슴 속을 마음 깊이 흐른다. 본 협회는 앞으로 K POP과 중국의 전통문화예술 등을 원활하게 오가게 하는 가운데 한중은 물론 동아이사의 평화를 이루는 데 중심축이 되겠다.”고 포부를 밝혔다.
공동회장인 중국재한교민협회 총회장 왕해군 회장은 “수천 년간 이어져 온 한중간의 문화교류 역사 에너지가 한중 양국 공동의 미래번영을 위해 새롭게 꽃피울 수 있도록 시대정신에 부응하겠다. 본 협회가 K POP 중국진출을 위한 그 가교 역할에 앞장을 설 것이다,”라며 지지와 성원을 부탁했다.
