[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해동부소방서는 119재난대응과 소방교 강설애 씨가 지난 9일 김해 서부문화센터 하늬홀에서 열린 ‘김해시민의 날’ 기념식에서 모범 소방공무원으로 선정돼 표창을 수상했다고 12일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 경상남도 김해시가 주최하고, 김해시·군 통합 30주년을 기념해‘꿈이 이루어지는 따뜻한 행복도시 김해’를 위해 헌신한 모범 시민, 경찰, 소방공무원 등을 격려하기 위한 자리로 마련됐다.
김해동부소방서 소속 강설애 소방교는 2019년 5월 구급 분야 경력경쟁채용으로 임용된 이래 현재까지 3,000여 회에 달하는 구급출동을 통해 응급환자에게 신속한 응급처치와 이송을 제공, 시민의 생명 보호에 크게 기여해 왔다.
특히, 출동 업무 외에도 2024년 소방기술경연대회 구급 분야에 참가해 3위를 수상하며 김해동부소방서의 긍지와 위상을 높이는 데 이바지했다.
