(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 오는 5월 31일부터 6월 22일까지 인천관광공사, 그랜드코리아레저(이하 GKL)와 함께 매주 주말마다 ‘2025 인천 복합리조트 인재양성교육(GKL 융복합 관광인재 양성교육) 주말반’을 특별 편성해 운영한다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 이번 프로그램은 기존 교육이 평일에만 진행되어 직장인 등 일정상 참여가 어려웠던 이들의 수요를 반영해 정규과정 외 추가로 마련됐다.
정규 교육은 총 5회차로 구성되며, 1~2회차(상반기)는 인천에서, 3~5회차(하반기)는 서울에서 진행되며, 주말에 진행되는 교육은 이번 특별반이 유일하다.
특히, 이번 주말반은 평일 교육 참여가 어려운 직장인, 주부, 취업준비생 등 다양한 계층이 일정에 부담 없이 참여할 수 있어 복합리조트 업계로의 취업 또는 이직을 준비하는 이들에게 실질적인 도움이 될 전망이다.
교육은 온라인 이론 수업과 주말 오프라인 실습으로 구성되며, GKL 소속 현직 전문가들이 직접 카지노 실무, 복합리조트 현장 직무, 고객 서비스 등 실무 중심의 노하우를 전수할 예정이다.
전액 무료로 운영되는 이번 교육은 지난해 수료생 중 약 40%가 취업에 성공했으며, 교육 만족도도 5점 만점에 4.8점을 기록하는 등 높은 호응을 얻은 바 있다.
특히, 올해부터는 교육 수료자에게 GKL 청년인턴십 지원 시 서류심사를 면제해 주는 혜택이 제공되어 실질적인 취업 기회가 더욱 확대된다.

Incheon City announced that it will be operating the ‘2025 Incheon Complex Resort Talent Development Education (GKL Convergence Tourism Talent Development Education) Weekend Class’ every weekend from May 31 to June 22 in cooperation with Incheon Tourism Organization and Grand Korea Leisure (hereinafter GKL).
According to Incheon City, this program was prepared in addition to the regular course to reflect the needs of those who had difficulty participating due to their schedules, such as office workers, as the existing education was conducted only on weekdays.
