(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 지난 19일, ‘제44회 스승의 날’을 맞아 인천교육 발전에 기여한 교원들에게 정부포상 및 교육감 표창을 수여했다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면,이번 표창은 교원과 교육전문직 등 교육 현장에서 성실히 근무하며 인천교육에 기여한 우수 직원을 대상으로 진행됐다.
수상자는 총 475명으로 근정포장 1명, 대통령표창 4명, 국무총리표창 5명, 교육부장관 표창 145명, 교육감표창 320명이다.
수여식에는 도성훈 교육감과 김흥복 학교교육국장 등 관계자들이 참석했으며, 인천대중예술고등학교 학생들의 축하공연도 함께 진행됐다.
도 교육감은 “현장에서 헌신하는 선생님들께 깊은 감사와 존경을 전한다”며 “선생님들이 자긍심을 가지고 교육에 전념할 수 있도록 더욱 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
