(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천대학교가 29일 교육부 주관 2025~2026년 ‘고교교육 기여대학 지원사업’기본사업에 최종 선정됐다.
인천대에 따르면, 2015년 첫 선정 이후 총 10회, 2017년부터 9년 연속 선정되었으며 해당 사업비 누적액은 이번 사업비까지 포함하면 총 60억여 원을 넘을 것으로 보인다.
고교교육 기여대학 지원사업은 전형 운영의 공정성․투명성을 확보하여 대입에 대한 신뢰를 높이고, 고교 교육과정과 대입전형 간 연계성을 제고하여 수험생의 대입 준비 부담을 완화하기 위한 사업이다.
인천대학교는 이번 사업을 통해 수험생, 학부모, 교사 등 대상별 맞춤형 대입정보 제공 프로그램을 운영하여 입시 부담 완화와 고교 교육과정 운영을 지속적으로 지원할 예정이다.

또한, 인천대학교가 진나 29일, 교육부와 한국연구재단이 주관하는 ‘2025년 인문사회 융합인재양성사업(HUSS)’ 포용사회 구축 컨소시엄 주관대학으로 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
인천대에 따르면, 인문사회 융합인재양성 사업은 학내 학과 간, 대학 간 경계를 허물고 인문사회 기반의 융합형 인재를 키우기 위해 2023년부터 매년 새로운 분야를 중심으로 컨소시엄을 선정해 왔다.
2023년에는 디지털(고려대), 환경(국민대), 위험사회(선문대), 인구구조(성균관대), 글로벌·문화(단국대)를 시작으로, 2024년에는 지역(전주대), 사회구조(서강대), 글로벌 공생(광운대) 등 총 8개 분야에서 주관대학을 선정한 바 있다.
이번 2025년에는 포용사회, 디지털경제 등 2개 분야가 새롭게 추가됐다.
전국 5개 대학이 함께 참여하는 광역형 연합 컨소시엄을 구성했으며 ‘다층적 갈등 시대, 포용사회와 공동체 재생을 선도할 문화중개 융합인재 양성’을 비전으로 설정하고, 컨소시엄에는 서강대학교, 대구대학교, 상지대학교, 부경대학교가 참여하고, 각 대학은 지역적·학문적 특성을 살려 포용사회의 다양한 문제에 대응하는 역할을 분담한다.
이번 사업으로 3년간 87억을 확보했다.
인천대학교 컨소시엄은 국내 최초로 ‘네트워크형 연합성 독립학부’라는 학제 모델을 도입해 주목받고 있다.
이 모델은 각 대학 내에 융합학부를 설치하되, 하나의 연합 학부처럼 공동운영하는 체계를 의미한다.
초유연 학사제도를 기반으로 공동학위제도 전환을 목표로 하고 있으며, 학석사 연계형 교육과정을 포함해 학제 완성도를 높이고 있다.
교육과정은 3단계 역량성장 프로세스를 기반으로 구성되며, 교과와 비교과, 인증, 성과확산을 통합한 체계적 운영이 특징이다.
특히, ‘포용사회입문’ 과목은 모든 참여 대학 교원이 공동으로 참여하는 팀티칭 방식으로 운영되며, 포용사회융합학부의 정체성과 응집력을 확보하는 핵심 과목이 될 예정이다.
또, ‘Credi-T 탐구공동체’를 기반으로 한 비교과 프로그램도 병행되어, 학생들은 역량 기반 맞춤형 학습 경험을 제공받는다.
캡스톤페스티벌과 연례 학술행사를 통해 성과를 컨소시엄 내부와 외부에 공유하며, 지역 사회 및 산업계와의 실질적 연계도 강화된다.
지리적으로 분산된 참여대학 간 협력 문제를 해결하기 위해 컨소시엄은 사업관리위원회, 교육과정심의위원회, 학사제도위원회 등 3대 중앙운영기구를 설치하고, 공통 행정지원 조직인 총괄교학실과 교육지원센터를 중심으로 일원화된 행정체계를 구축했다.
또, AI 조교, 디지털 협업 공간(Digital Co-work Lab), 학사지도 시스템, Credi-T Navigator 등의 디지털 플랫폼을 통해 실시간 협업과 정보 공유를 지원한다.
컨소시엄은 한국방송통신대학교, 프랑스 고등사회과학대학원, 인천광역시 글로벌도시국, 5개 지역 인자위 등과도 협력 네트워크를 구축하고 있으며, 각 지역 창업지원기관 및 공공기관과의 연계를 통해 교육성과의 사회적 확산과 사업화 가능성을 동시에 확보하고 있다.
사업은 총 3개 연차로 구성되며, 1차년도에는 제도 정비와 교육과정 기반 구축, 2차년도에는 포용사회융합학부 설치와 공동교육과정 운영, 3차년도에는 학석사 연계 및 성과확산이 본격화될 예정이다.
컨소시엄은 1차년도 600명을 시작으로, 3차년도에는 2,900명의 융합형 포용사회 전문가 양성을 목표로 한다.
컨소시엄 주관대학인 인천대학교 이인재 총장은 “포용사회의 실현은 단순한 가치가 아니라, 오늘날 고등교육이 해결해야 할 가장 현실적인 과제”라며 “인천대는 본 사업을 통해 지역과 사회, 국가를 아우르는 인문사회 기반 융합교육의 선도대학으로 자리매김하겠다”고 밝혔다.
