충남 논산시에 위치한 논산시사람꽃복지관(관장 김남흥)은 최근 지역사회 내에서 진행된 일련의 자원봉사 활동에 장애인 당사자들이 주도적으로 참여했다고 밝혔다.
이들은 자조모임을 통해 직접 밑반찬을 만들고, 외로운 삶을 살아가는 독거 어르신과 장애인 가정을 찾아가 정성껏 준비한 도시락과 함께 카네이션을 전달했다.
단순한 식사 제공을 넘어, 진심이 담긴 선물은 받는 이들에게 깊은 위로와 감동을 안겼다. 특히 카네이션은 어버이날을 맞아 전하는 마음의 표현으로, 어르신들의 눈시울을 붉히게 만들었다.
