(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 5일, 시민들이 일상생활 속에서 통일을 보다 친숙하게 느끼고 직접 체험할 수 있도록 6월부터 인천통일플러스센터를 중심으로 다양한 통일문화 체험 프로그램을 본격 운영한다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 인천통일플러스센터는 유치원생부터 청소년, 성인, 외국인 등 모든 시민을 대상으로 맞춤형 통일문화 체험 프로그램을 제공하고 있다.
이를 통해 시민들이 통일의 필요성과 가치를 직접 보고, 듣고, 느끼는 경험을 하도록 하고, 나아가 인천지역 내 통일 공감대 형성과 확산에 중점을 두고 있다.
6월부터 본격적으로 운영되는 통일문화 체험 프로그램은 다양한 계층을 대상으로 맞춤형으로 구성됐다.
먼저, 6월 10일에는 인천지속가능발전협의회 회원 30여 명이 남북 분단의 현장(파주 지역)을 방문하는 ‘통일현장 문화체험’ 프로그램에 참여해 평화의 중요성과 통일의 의미를 되새기는 시간을 갖는다.
이어 6월 11일에는 한울유치원(동구 송현동 소재)을 찾아 유치원생 110여 명을 대상으로 놀이 중심의 체험 활동인 ‘통통통 통일아 놀자’ 프로그램을 운영해 어린이들이 통일을 쉽고 재미있게 접할 수 있도록 할 예정이다.
또, 6월 14일에는 북한이탈주민과 일반 시민 30명이 함께하는 ‘남북음식 문화체험’ 프로그램이 진행된다.
참가자들은 남과 북의 음식을 함께 만들며 서로의 음식 문화를 이해하고 소통하는 시간을 갖는다.

또한, 인천시가 오는 7월 31일까지 인천관광공사와 함께 6월 호국보훈의 달을 맞아 ‘인천 평화 자전거 스탬프투어’를 운영한다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 이번 스탬프투어는 인천보훈지청과 협력해 기획된 행사로, 시민들이 자전거를 타고 경인아라뱃길을 따라 인천의 평화·안보 관련 관광자원을 직접 체험하며 그 의미를 되새길 수 있도록 마련됐다.
투어 코스는 계양아라온, 수향루, 황어장터 3·1만세 기념관, 귤현프라자, 6·25 전쟁영웅 히어로드 조형물, 아라폭포, 시천나루 선착장, 콜롬비아군 참전기념비, 경인아라뱃길 여객터미널 등 총 9개 지점으로 구성됐으며, 참가자는 이 중 3곳 이상을 방문하면 5,000원 상당의 카페 이용권을 받을 수 있다.
참여 방법은 인천 스마트관광 애플리케이션(App) ‘인천e지’를 설치하고 회원가입 후 ‘인천 평화 자전거 스탬프투어’를 선택한 뒤, 지정 관광지에 방문하면 위치 정보(GPS) 기반으로 모바일 스탬프가 자동 인식되는 방식이다.
