(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천삼산경찰서가 9일, 여성청소년과에서 아동 실종 예방을 위해 올 해초부터 5월까지 관내 어린이집(42개소)을 직접 방문하는 ‘찾아가는 실종 예방 사전등록’ 활동을 전개하여, 아동 700여 명의 지문과 사진 등 정보를 사전 등록했다고 밝혔다.
삼산경찰서에 따르면, 5월 ‘실종아동 주간’을 맞아 관내 가정육아지원시설(아이사랑꿈터)에 방문한 아동과 보호자들을 대상으로 ‘실종예방 색칠놀이 워크북’을 활용한 교육 활동을 진행했다.
이번 워크북은 코레일유통과 아동권리보장원이 제작 후원한 자료로, 아동들이 실종 예방 수칙을 쉽고 재미있게 익힐 수 있도록 구성됐다.
아울러, 보호자가 직접 경찰청 ‘안전드림’ 앱을 통해 실종예방 사전등록 하는 방법을 홍보했다.
인천삼산경찰서 관계자는 “자녀의 실종 예방을 위해 지문 등 사전 등록이 꼭 필요함을 인식시키고, 아동이 안전한 환경을 만들 수 있도록 경찰이 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
