(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 남동구가 9일, 논현포대근린공원(논현동 644-1) 제2유수지에 조성 중인 가족형 야외 물놀이장 명칭을 ‘남동 물빛놀이터’로 확정했다고 밝혔다.
남동구에 따르면, 구는 지난 4월 29일부터 5월 12일까지 주민 의견을 수렴해 8개 명칭을 선정하고, 5월 19~30일까지 주민 설문조사를 진행했다.
설문조사에는 총 3,463명이 참여한 가운데 ‘남동 물빛놀이터’가 1,460명(42.1%)의 선택을 받아 최종 명칭으로 선정됐다.
‘남동 물빛놀이터’는 185m의 유수풀(601㎡, 수심 1.1m)과 수영장(300㎡, 수심 1.0m), 유아 물놀이장(503㎡, 수심 0.3m), 휴게 광장 등이 계획된 대규모 가족형 야외 물놀이장으로 7월 초 개장을 앞두고 있다.
매주 화요일에서 일요일 오전 10시부터 오후 6시까지 연령 제한 없이 이용할 수 있으며, 이용요금은 5,000원(남동구민 50% 감면, 3세 이하 무료)으로 8월 31일까지 운영될 예정이다.
