잠깐 사이에도 60도를 훌쩍 넘어 80도에 육박하는 찜통으로 변해버리곤 한다.
이러한 고온 환경은 단순히 불쾌감을 주는 것을 넘어, 우리 주변의 작은 물건들을 ‘화’(禍)의 씨앗으로 만들 수 있다는 사실을 간과해서는 안된다.
매년 여름, 현장에서는 차량 내부에서 발생한 크고 작은 사고들을 마주하게 된다.
대시보드 위에 놓아둔 라이터가 폭발하여 차량 유리창이 깨지고 내부가 손상되는가 하면, 안경이나 선글라스의 렌즈가 햇빛을 모아 시트에 불을 붙이는 아찔한 상황도 발생하기도 한다.
