충남 서산시가 과학적 행정 기반 구축을 위해 추진한 '데이터 통합 플랫폼 구축사업'의 완료보고회를 지난 11일 시청 대회의실에서 성공적으로 개최했다.
이날 보고회에는 홍순광 서산시 부시장을 비롯한 간부 공무원과 사업 수행사인 코데이터 솔루션㈜ 컨소시엄 관계자 등 60여 명이 참석하여 사업 추진 내용, 시스템 주요 기능, 향후 운영계획 등에 대해 심도 있는 논의를 진행했다.
이번 데이터 통합 플랫폼 구축사업은 서산시 내부 데이터는 물론 민간, 기업 등의 다양한 데이터를 수집·분석하고 이를 통합하여 제공하는 단일 플랫폼을 구축하는 데 목적이 있다. 지난해 11월 착수하여 총 6억 7천6백여만 원의 사업비가 투입되었다.
구축된 통합 플랫폼은 서산시 45개 부서, 192개 팀의 정보를 수집·분석하여 12개 메뉴로 체계화된 정보를 직원들에게 제공하며, 시 행정 데이터 외에 민간 및 기업 데이터까지 연계하여 종합적인 분석이 가능하도록 설계되었다.
특히, 시민들의 데이터 활용 편의를 높이기 위해 '서산시 데이터 포털'을 구축하여 누구나 서산시의 현황을 한눈에 파악하고 정보를 쉽게 활용할 수 있도록 했다. 서산시 데이터 포털은 오는 16일부터 서비스를 시작할 예정이다.
또한, 사업의 일환으로 지난 3월 시청 현관에 설치된 대시보드는 3D 청사 안내, 인공지능 기술을 접목한 브리핑 등 다양한 기능을 구현하며 스마트 행정을 지원하고 있다.
