(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 12일, 난독증과 경계선 지능을 가진 학생들의 학습권을 보장하고 ‘모든 학생의 의미 있는 학습과 성장’을 위한 지원 체계를 확대한다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 2025학년도부터는 더욱 심층적인 진단과 개별 맞춤형 지원을 강화할 방침이다.
인천시교육청은 올해 초등학교 1~2학년 대상 난독증, 중학교 1학년 대상 경계선지능 전수조사를 시행했으며, 지난 4월부터 5월까지 전 학년을 대상으로 심층 진단 신청을 받았다.
그 결과, 지난해 872명에서 약 59% 증가한 1,480명이 신청해 학습 지원에 대한 학교 현장의 높아진 관심을 엿볼 수 있었다.
이에 시교육청은 협약 전문기관을 31곳으로 늘리고, 이음지원단(기초학력전문학습교원)과 함께 정기 컨설팅 및 모니터링을 통해 학생 맞춤형 학습 지원을 강화할 예정이다.
또한, 진단-지원-평가의 순환 체계를 구축하고 사전·사후 검사로 학생 성장을 지속적으로 점검하며, 진단 결과는 다음 해 사업 설계에 반영된다.
한편, 교육청은 본사업을 통해 지난해 430명의 학생을 지원했으며, 올해는 약 450명으로 지원을 확대할 계획이다.
