[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 합천군이 경상남도에서 주관한 ‘2025년 청년일자리 연계 주거지원사업’공모에 최종 선정되어 지방소멸대응 광역기금 42억원을 포함한 총사업비 140억원을 확보했다.
청년 일자리 연계 주거지원사업은 지역에서 일하는 청년들을 위한 임대주택을 공급함으로써 청년인구 유출을 억제하고 타 지역 청년 유입을 통해 실질적인 인구증가에 기여하기 위한 사업으로, 합천군은 사업계획서 심사와 현장점검, 사업내용 발표와 질의응답 등의 어려운 과정을 거쳐 도내 최대금액인 42억원의 지방소멸대응 광역기금을 확보하는 성과를 거두었다.
합천군은 평가과정에서 사업대상지의 위치, 입지 조건, 연계사업과의 시너지 효과, 사업계획서의 전문성과 실현 가능성에서 평가위원의 좋은 평가를 받았다.
사업대상지는 교육과 보육, 문화, 의료 등의 생활 인프라가 집중되어있는 합천읍의 중심지에 위치하고, 10층 규모의 2~3인 가구가 살기 적합한 면적으로 30세대를 공급할 예정이며 접근성이 좋아 입주자의 만족도가 높을 것으로 예상된다.
대상지 바로 옆에서 진행 중인 청년신혼부부 행복주택․청년 공공임대주택과 함께 총 90세대의 주거단지를 구성할 수 있어 청년들이 모여 사는 청년활력타운으로써의 시너지효과는 물론 건축공사 상 비용 절감과 함께 향후 관리․운영 역시 효율화를 기대할 수 있다.
