【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 동구청(구청장 윤석준)은 대구 동구 도시재생지원센터와 손잡고 지역 주민을 위한 목재문화 체험 프로그램 ‘2025 불로 목재문화 아카데미’를 본격 운영한다고 밝혔다.
이번 아카데미는 국산 목재의 우수성을 널리 알리고 주민들의 생활 속 목재문화 체험 기회를 확대하기 위해 올해 처음 기획됐다. 프로그램은 ▲악기 제작 ▲목조 건축 ▲목공예 DIY 등 총 3개 과정으로 구성돼 전통과 현대, 이론과 실습을 아우르는 다채로운 교육을 제공한다.
‘악기 제작 과정’은 전통 국악기 가야금의 제작부터 연주까지를 배우는 특별한 체험으로, 국산 목재가 지닌 예술적·문화적 가치를 직접 느낄 수 있는 시간이 될 전망이다. 교육 수료 후에는 11월 예정된 ‘불로고분마을 막걸리축제’에서 결과발표회를 통해 완성된 악기와 연주를 선보일 계획이다.
‘목조 건축 프로그램’은 건축 이론과 도면 해독, 공구 사용법 및 안전교육 등 체계적인 이론 수업에 이어 실제 건축물 제작 실습이 이어진다. 완성된 작품은 지역 커뮤니티 공간에 전시되어 주민들과 공유될 예정이다.
‘목공예 DIY 과정’은 불로동 목공예 전문단체와 협업해 현대 감각의 생활소품부터 전통 방식의 소형 가구 제작까지 폭넓은 실습을 제공, 참가자들이 자신만의 창의적인 목공 제품을 완성할 수 있도록 돕는다.

The ‘Woodworking Architecture Program’ is a systematic theoretical class on architectural theory, interpretation of drawings, tool usage, and safety education, followed by actual building construction practice. The completed works will be exhibited in the local community space and shared with residents.
The ‘Woodworking DIY Course’ provides a wide range of practical training, from modern lifestyle items to traditional small furniture, in collaboration with a woodworking professional group in Bulo-dong, to help participants complete their own creative woodworking products.
