충남 예산군이 저장강박 증상으로 인해 극심한 주거 불편을 겪는 가구를 대상으로 생활환경 정비 및 맞춤형 복지지원을 집중적으로 펼치고 있다. 군은 올해 6월 현재 총 24가구를 집중 관리하고 있으며, 이 중 11가구에는 청소와 방역을 포함한 환경개선 작업을 완료했다고 8일 밝혔다.
군에 따르면 해당 가구들은 다량의 폐기물 적치, 심각한 악취, 해충 번식 등으로 일상생활이 불가능한 수준의 주거환경에 놓여 있었다. 이에 주민복지과는 관계 기관과 협력해 해당 가구를 지속적으로 설득해왔고, 결국 청소에 동의한 11가구에 대해 집중 방역과 폐기물 처리, 해충 제거 등의 정비 작업을 실시했다.
