인천시에 따르면, 올해로 6회째를 맞는 이번 행사는 이스포츠 아마추어 최강자를 가리는 ‘인천 이스포츠 챌린지 대회’로 종목별 결승전이 11일부터 12일까지 이틀간 진행된다.
또한, 행사 마지막 날에는 프로게이머 16개 팀이 참가해‘배틀그라운드 인천컵’을 놓고 치열한 승부를 겨룬다.
개막식에는 인기 아이돌 그룹 출신 가수 겸 배우 츄의 축하공연이 펼쳐질 예정이며, 트레이딩 카드 게임(TCG)존, PUBG·브롤스타즈 체험존, 콘솔 게임존 등 다양한 부대행사가 마련돼 관람객들에게 즐거움을 선사할 예정이다.
