[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시는 광복 80주년을 맞아 독립운동의 발자취를 따라가는 ‘2025 부산광복원정대’를 출범했다.
이번 원정대는 독립운동 정신을 계승하고 지역 청년층의 보훈 의식을 높이기 위한 목적으로 기획되었으며, 오는 16일부터 19일까지 3박 4일 일정으로 중국 연길과 백두산 일대의 항일 유적지를 탐방할 예정이다.
출정식 개최… 세대 간 독립정신 계승 다짐
‘부산광복원정대’의 공식 출정식은 14일 오전 10시, 부산시의회 대회의실에서 열렸다. 행사에는 박형준 부산시장, 광복회 부산지부장, 독립유공자 유족 및 원정대원 등 약 100여 명이 참석해, 세대와 세대를 잇는 독립운동 정신의 계승과 확산을 다짐하는 뜻깊은 자리를 가졌다.

올해로 2회째를 맞는 ‘부산광복원정대’는 광복 제80주년과 함께 부산독립운동기념관의 성공적 조성을 기원하는 뜻을 담아 추진된다. 지난해에 이어 올해는 독립유공자 후손뿐 아니라 역사 교사, 관련 학과 대학생까지 참가 대상을 확대해 총 80명이 선발됐다.
구성은 ▲독립유공자 후손 52명(광복회 부산지부 추천) ▲역사 전공 교사 2명(부산시교육청 추천) ▲부산지역 5개 대학(부산대, 동아대, 부경대, 경성대, 신라대)에서 추천받은 대학생 25명 등으로 이루어졌다.

항일 독립운동의 현장을 걷다… 연길감옥·백두산 천지 등 방문
원정대는 만주의 항일 독립운동 중심지였던 중국 연길과 백두산 일원을 탐방하며, 선열들의 투쟁 현장을 직접 밟게 된다. 주요 방문지는 ▲명동학교 옛터와 윤동주 생가(민족교육·문학의 현장) ▲백두산 천지, 비룡폭포(민족 정기의 상징) ▲연길감옥, 간민회 유적지, 봉오동 전투의 전초기지 오봉촌 등이다. 이를 통해 원정대원들은 일제강점기 무장투쟁의 흔적과 정신을 현장에서 직접 체험하며 역사적 의미를 되새긴다.
