인천영종하늘도서관, 발달장애 아동 위한 독서문화 프로그램 운영

(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 인천시 미추홀도서관 분관 영종하늘도서관에서 16일부터 오는 9월 24일까지 영종장애인종합복지관과 협력해 지역 내 발달장애 아동을 위한 맞춤형 독서문화 프로그램을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

영종하늘도서에 따르면, 이번 프로그램은 국립장애인도서관이 전국 단위로 추진하는 ‘2025년 장애인 독서문화 프로그램’ 공모사업에 선정돼 추진되는 것으로, 장애인의 문화향유 기회를 확대하고 문화취약계층에게 양질의 독서 경험을 제공하는 데 목적이 있다.

공공도서관, 장애인도서관, 특수학교를 대상으로 시각, 청각, 발달, 지체 등 4개 장애 유형별 운영기관을 모집해 올해 총 140개 기관을 선정했으며, 영종하늘도서관은 발달장애 분야 운영기관으로 최종 선정됐다.

‘내가 만드는 그림책 놀이터’를 주제로 하는 이번 프로그램은 7월부터 9월까지 총 11회에 걸쳐 진행되며, 그림책 읽기, 체험형 독후활동, 도서관 이용 교육, 마술공연 관람 등으로 구성된다. 

프로그램 운영은 영종장애인종합복지관과 협력해 진행되며, 발달장애 아동의 독서 흥미를 높이고 책과 도서관에 대한 친숙함을 키울 수 있도록 기획됐다.

고경욱 시 영종하늘도서관장은 "국비 지원 예산을 확보해 지역 내 발달장애 아동을 위한 특화 프로그램을 운영하게 돼 뜻깊게 생각한다”며 “앞으로도 영종하늘도서관은 지역 구성원 모두를 위한 열린 공간으로서 장애인과 비장애인 함께하는 포용적 독서문화 확산에 앞장서겠다”고 말했다.

Incheon City Michuhol Library Branch Yeongjong Sky Library announced that it will operate a customized reading culture program for children with developmental disabilities in the region from the 16th to September 24th in cooperation with Yeongjong Center for the Disabled.

According to Yeongjong Sky Library, this program was selected for the '2025 Reading Culture Program for the Disabled' contest promoted nationwide by the National Library for the Disabled, and is being promoted with the aim of expanding opportunities for the disabled to enjoy culture and providing quality reading experiences to culturally vulnerable groups.

We recruited operating organizations for four types of disabilities, including visual, auditory, developmental, and physical disabilities, targeting public libraries, libraries for the disabled, and special schools, and selected a total of 140 organizations this year. Yeongjong Sky Library was finally selected as an operating organization in the developmental disability field.

This program, themed ‘Picture Book Playground I Create,’ will be held for a total of 11 times from July to September, and will consist of picture book reading, experiential post-reading activities, library use education, and watching magic shows.
