(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 17일, 관내 고등학교를 대상으로 ‘늘 가까이 결대로 딱’ 맞춤형 진로 특강을 운영하고 있다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면,‘청년진로멘토단’은 인천 지역 고등학교 졸업생인 대학생과 사회초년생으로 구성된 진로 교육 서포터즈로 중·고등학생에게 진로 탐색, 전공 체험, 학습 조언 등을 제공한다.
이번 특강은 인문·사회, 언어, 정치·외교, 경제·경영, 교육, 자연과학, 의학·약학, 공학 등 8개 전공 계열로 구성되며, 학교당 최대 8개 학급이 동시에 참여할 수 있다.
학생들은 전공 계열에 따라 두 개의 강의를 선택 수강하거나 학년·학급을 교차해 참여하는 등 학교 여건에 맞춘 운영이 가능하다.
한편, 청년진로멘토단은 사전 온라인 연수를 이수한 뒤 학교 현장에 배치되며, 특강 이후에도 초·중·고 학생을 대상으로 멘토링과 ‘읽걷쓰’ 기반 독서 디깅 활동 등을 이어갈 예정이다.
인천시교육청 관계자는 “청년 멘토들의 생생한 경험을 담은 특강이 학생들의 진로 설계에 큰 도움이 되고 있다”며 “앞으로도 학생 맞춤형 진로 교육을 지속해서 확대하겠다”고 말했다.
