【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구가 외국인 관광객을 위한 ‘QR 다국어 메뉴판’ 보급에 나선다.
중구청은 지난 17일 구청 상황실에서 대구문화예술진흥원, 푸드테크와 함께 다국어 메뉴판 제작·보급을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.
이 사업은 동성로 관광특구 내 음식점에서 스마트폰으로 QR 코드를 스캔하면 영어, 일본어, 중국어(간체·번체)로 번역된 디지털 메뉴판을 볼 수 있도록 지원하는 것이다.
음식명뿐 아니라 설명과 식재료 정보도 함께 제공되며, 희망 업소에는 주문 및 결제 기능도 추가된다.
참여 신청은 7월 21일부터 중구청 누리집에 게시된 QR 코드(네이버 폼) 또는 관광과 방문을 통해 접수할 수 있다.
대상은 동성로 관광특구 내 일반·휴게음식점이며, 착한가격업소, 백년식당, 관광객이 많이 찾는 매장 등이 우선 선정된다. 총 80개 매장을 지원할 예정이다.
류규하 중구청장은 “QR 메뉴판은 외국인 관광객의 불편을 줄이고 지역 상권의 경쟁력을 높이는 계기가 될 것”이라며, “앞으로도 관광 안내와 서비스 수준을 지속적으로 개선해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Ryu Gyu-ha, the mayor of Jung-gu, said, “The QR menu board will be an opportunity to reduce the inconvenience of foreign tourists and increase the competitiveness of local businesses,” and added, “We will continue to improve our tourism information and service level in the future.”
