포스코그룹, 집중호우 피해 복구 위해 20억 원 구호성금 기탁

포스코그룹은 포스코홀딩스, 포스코, 포스코인터내셔널, 포스코이앤씨, 포스코퓨처엠, 포스코DX가 함께 뜻을 모아 20억원의 성금을 '전국재해구호협회'에 기탁하기로 했다.

성금은 집중호우 피해 지역 긴급구호 및 피해 복구, 이재민 생필품 및 주거 안전 확보 등에 사용될 예정이다.

포스코그룹 장인화 회장은 “집중호우로 심각한 피해를 입은 지역의 회복과 일상으로 복귀에 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.

포스코그룹은 올해 3월 영남 산불 피해, 23년 전국 집중호우와 강릉 산불 피해 지역에 각각 20억원을 지원한 바 있으며, 이에 앞서 2022년에는 수도권 집중호우와 경북·강원지역 산불 피해 복구에도 각각 20억원을 출연하는 등 사회적 책임을 다하는데 노력해왔다.
