[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시 엄궁농산물도매시장관리사업소는 오는 24일 오전 10시, 시장 내 2층 회의실에서 ‘2025년 시원한 여름나기 수박 나눔행사’를 개최한다.
이번 행사는 유통종사자들의 자발적인 기부로 마련된 수박 700통을 지역 내 복지시설과 아동센터 등에 전달하기 위해 진행된다.
행사에는 도매시장 유통업체 관계자를 비롯해 지역 단체 대표, 주민 등 약 100명이 참석할 예정이다. 기부된 수박은 사상구 및 사하구 새마을부녀회, 서구 마리아수녀회, 사상구 지역아동센터연합회를 통해 총 360개소에 전달되며, 수혜 인원은 약 9,960명에 달한다.
세부적으로는 사상구 새마을부녀회가 경로당 137개소에 300통, 사하구 새마을부녀회가 경로당 198개소에 250통, 서구 마리아수녀회는 복지시설 6개소에 75통, 사상구 지역아동센터는 아동센터 19개소에 75통을 배부할 계획이다.
이번 나눔 행사는 엄궁농산물도매시장관리사업소 주최로, 농협부산공판장, 부산청과, 항도청과, 무배추류정산조합, 양념류정산조합, 청과물직판장, 종합식품상가 등 시장 내 유통업체들이 참여했다. 2016년 시작된 수박 나눔은 올해로 10회째를 맞으며, 지역사회에 대한 유통종사자들의 꾸준한 기부 문화로 자리잡고 있다.
