브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 인천국제공항공사는 정부의 부담금 개편으로 인한 출국납부금 인하 분을 환급하기 위해 ‘출국납부금 온라인 환급 서비스’를 운영 중이라고 23일 밝혔다.
출국납부금은 관광사업의 효율적 발전 및 관광을 통한 외화 수입의 증대를 위해 1997년에 도입된 부담금으로, 국내 공항을 이용해 출국하는 만 2세 이상의 여객을 대상으로 항공권에 포함하여 징수해 왔다.
최근 정부는 관광진흥개발기금법 시행령 개정(2024년 6월)을 통해 2024년 7월 1일부터 출국납부금을 인하하고 면제대상을 확대했으며, 이에 문화체육관광부로부터 출국납부금 징수 및 환급업무를 위탁 받은 인천국제공항공사가 환급절차를 진행 중이다.
환급대상은 2024년 6월 30일 이전 항공권을 발권해 2024년 7월 1일 이후 국내 공항을 통해 출국한 여객이며, 환급금액은 2세~12세는 1만원, 12세 이상은 3000원이다.
출국일 기준 만 나이에 따라 적용 환급신청을 원하는 경우 인천국제공항 공식 홈페이지 내 팝업 창을 통해 환급 서비스 사이트에 접속하거나, 환급 서비스 사이트에 직접 접속해 본인인증 및 계좌정보 입력을 완료 해 신청하면 된다.
