[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 제30회 부산국제영화제가 영화제의 성공적인 개최를 위해 한국수력원자력과 후원 협약을 체결했다.
23일 오전 11시 영화의전당에서 진행된 협약식에는 부산영화제 박광수 이사장과 한수원 이상욱 고리원자력본부장이 참석했다.
한수원은 이번 협약식에서 부산 지역 문화 예술 발전을 위해 제30회 부산국제영화제를 공식 후원하고, 영화제의 사업 및 프로그램을 전면 지원할 것을 공표했다. 이와 더불어 영화제 기간 내 친환경 에너지 산업에 대한 홍보를 함께 펼치기로 협의했다.
한수원 이상욱 본부장은 “최근 한수원이 체코 신규 원전 건설을 체결한 것은 대한민국 모두가 함께 이룩한 쾌거로, 국가 위상을 높여온 K-콘텐츠와 영화 산업의 도움이 컸다”며 “부산 최대의 문화 예술 행사인 부산국제영화제를 후원하며 글로벌 도시 부산의 경제·문화 발전에 도움이 되길 바란다”고 전했다.
박광수 이사장은 “지난해에 이어 올해도 한수원과 부산국제영화제가 함께할 수 있어 대단히 영광이다”라며 “이에 대한 보답으로 최선을 다해 올해 영화제를 성공리에 마치겠다”고 밝혔다.
제30회 부산국제영화제는 오는 9월 17일(수)부터 9월 26일(금)까지 10일간 영화의전당 일대에서 개최된다.
