포항시는 30일 시청 대회의실에서 특례보증 재원 목표 달성 기념행사를 열고, 출연 금융기관, 경북신용보증재단, 소상공인 관련 단체들과 함께 성과를 공유하며 앞으로의 협력 강화 의지를 다졌다.
올해 7월까지 혜택을 받은 소상공인은 총 4,600명, 지원된 자금은 약 1,380억 원에 달한다. 포항시는 이를 통해 자금난에 직면한 지역 소상공인에게 실질적인 도움이 되고 있다고 설명했다.
‘희망동행 특례보증’은 대출 한도를 일반 대상자 최대 5천만 원, 청년 창업자·다자녀 가구 등 우대 대상은 최대 1억 원까지 설정하고 있으며, 2년간 최대 연 3%의 이자 지원과 우대금리 적용도 병행돼 금융 부담을 크게 덜어주고 있다.
특히 올해는 냉천교 재해복구사업과 어업 부진 등으로 어려움을 겪는 소상공인을 위한 맞춤형 우대지원이 추가되었다. 또한 불빛축제 취소로 타격을 입은 해도동, 송도동 지역 음식점 및 도소매업 소상공인을 위해 신용평점과 관계없이 한도 사정을 생략하고 최대 4천만 원까지 대출을 지원하는 특별방안도 마련, 8월부터 시행된다. 단, 해당 지원은 2025년 6월 21일 이전에 사업장 소재지를 등록한 사업자에게 적용된다.
포항시는 KB국민은행, 신한은행 등 11개 금융기관과 매칭 출연 협력을 통해 보증 규모와 참여 금융기관 수 모두 전국 최대 수준의 특례보증 체계를 구축하고 있다.
