[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시 농업기술센터는 도시민의 안정적인 귀농 정착을 지원하기 위한 ‘농촌에서 살아보기 지원사업’을 8월 1일부터 11월 말까지, 대산면에 위치한 빗돌배기농어촌체험휴양마을에서 본격 운영한다고 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 귀농을 희망하는 도시민이 일정 기간 농촌에 거주하면서 지역 주민과 어울려 생활하고, 농업 활동과 농촌 일상을 직접 체험할 수 있도록 지원하는 체류형 프로그램이다. 창원시는 이를 통해 도시민에게 농촌의 매력을 알리고, 실제 귀농으로 이어질 수 있도록 도울 계획이다.
타 지역 도시민 7명이 참여하며, 작물 재배, 농산물 가공, 마을 공동 활동 등 4개월간 귀농을 위한 교육 및 체험 프로그램이 진행된다.
참여자에게는 숙박, 교육 등 체류에 필요한 비용이 전액 지원되며, 마을 운영자와 지역 주민이 함께 프로그램을 운영해 참여자들의 적응을 적극 돕는다.
