[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시는 ‘2025 외국인 유학생 채용박람회’를 19일 오후 1시부터 5시까지 벡스코 제2전시장(1층 121~125호)에서 개최한다.
이번 박람회는 부산시와 부산지방중소벤처기업청이 공동 주최하고, 부산글로벌도시재단(대표이사 전용우)이 주관하며, 부산출입국·외국인청 및 부산지역 대학이 협력 기관으로 참여한다.
이번 행사는 지역 산업의 인력난을 해소하고, 우수한 외국인 유학생들의 부산 정착을 지원하기 위한 목적으로 마련되었으며, 올해로 세 번째를 맞는다.
35개 지역 기업 참여…작년보다 규모 확대
이번 박람회에는 부산 지역 제조업, 호텔·컨벤션업, 무역·물류업 등 35개 기업이 참가한다. 이는 지난해 21개 기업 참여 대비 14개가 늘어난 수치로, 기업들의 외국인 유학생 채용에 대한 관심이 확대되고 있음을 보여준다.
참여 기업들은 현장에서 이력서를 접수하고, 구직자와 직접 면접을 진행할 예정이다. 또한 온라인 구직등록 플랫폼인 K-Work를 통한 구직 지원도 병행된다.
지역특화형 비자·특정활동 비자 연계…정착 기반 마련
이번 박람회의 특징은 ‘지역특화형 비자(F-2-R)’와 ‘특정활동 비자(E-7)’를 연계해 외국인 유학생이 취업과 함께 부산 지역에 장기 체류할 수 있는 기반을 제공하는 데 있다.
▲‘지역특화형 비자(F-2-R)’는 국내 대학 졸업 등 일정 요건을 갖춘 외국인 인재가 인구감소 지역(부산의 서구·동구·영도구)에 거주 또는 취업 시 발급받을 수 있는 거주 비자로, 부산시는 법무부에 추천권을 가진다. 올해 배정된 추천 인원은 150명이며, 현재 65명을 모집 완료하고 85명을 상시 모집 중이다.
▲‘특정활동 비자(E-7)’는 전문인력이나 숙련기능인력에게 발급되는 비자이며, 이번 박람회에 참여하는 기업에 취업할 경우 해당 비자 발급 요건을 충족할 수 있다.
비자 설명회, 현직자 특강 등 다양한 프로그램 마련- 박람회에서는 단순 채용 부스 외에도 다채로운 부대 프로그램이 운영된다.
▲비자 설명회에서는 부산출입국·외국인청이 외국인 유학생을 대상으로 취업비자 개념과 발급 절차를 상세히 안내한다. ▲현직자 특강에서는 부산 지역 기업에 취업한 응웬 탄딴 씨가 자신의 취업 성공 사례를 공유한다. ▲부대 행사관에서는 면접용 메이크업, 증명사진 촬영, 퍼스널 컬러 진단 등 구직자들을 위한 실용적인 서비스도 제공된다. ▲홍보관에서는 비자, 취업, 생활정보 등 실질적인 정보가 제공된다.
김귀옥 부산시 청년산학국장은 “우수한 외국인 유학생들이 부산에서 정착하고 취업하게 된다면, 인구감소와 청년 유출 등 지방의 문제 해결에도 도움이 될 것”이라며, “유학생들이 물류·무역업, 관광·마이스(MICE) 등 부산 주력 산업의 일꾼으로 성장해 지역경제를 이끌고, 나아가 자국과 한국을 잇는 민간 외교관 역할도 해주길 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

35 Regional Companies Participating… Larger Scale than Last Year
This year’s fair will feature participation from 35 companies in Busan’s manufacturing, hotel·convention, trade·logistics industries. This is an increase of 14 companies compared to 21 companies last year, showing that businesses are increasingly interested in hiring international students.
Participating companies will accept résumés on-site and conduct interviews with job seekers. Additionally, there will be support for job search registration through the online platform K-Work.
Regional Specialized Visa·Specific Activity Visa Linked… Providing a Foundation for Settlement
A key feature of this job fair is that it links visa systems such as the ‘Regional Specialized Visa (F-2-R)’ and the ‘Specific Activity Visa (E-7)’, providing a foundation for international students to gain employment and reside long-term in the Busan area.
▲ The ‘Regional Specialized Visa (F-2-R)’ is a residence visa issued to foreign talents who meet certain criteria such as graduating from a domestic university, and who live or work in population-declining areas (in Busan: Seo-gu, Dong-gu, Yeongdo-gu). Busan City has the authority to recommend eligible candidates to the Ministry of Justice. Of the 150 recommendation slots allocated to Busan this year, 65 have been recruited, and the remaining 85 are being recruited on a rolling basis.
▲ The ‘Specific Activity Visa (E-7)’ is a visa issued to professionals or skilled workers, and those who gain employment with a company participating in this fair may qualify for this visa.
Visa Info Sessions, Talks from Current Employees, and Diverse Programs Available- ㅜAside from job booths, the fair will also offer a variety of additional programs.
▲ At the visa information session, the Busan Immigration Office will provide detailed guidance on the concept and issuance procedures of employment visas for international students.
▲ In the special lecture by a current employee, Mr. Nguyen Tan Dan, who studied in Busan and is now employed at a local company, will share his job-seeking success story.
▲ At the support zone, practical services for job seekers will be offered, including interview makeup, ID photo shooting, and personal color analysis.
▲ The information booth will provide real-world information on visas, employment, and daily life.
Kim Gui-ok, Director of Youth and Industry-Academia Affairs of Busan City, said “If outstanding international students settle and work in Busan, it will help address the challenges regional areas face, such as population decline and youth outmigration,” and added, “We hope these students will grow to become key contributors in Busan’s major industries such as logistics·trade, tourism·MICE, and further, act as civilian diplomats representing their home countries and Korea.”
