[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시는 ㈜성우하이텍 및 토스씨엑스와 총 457억 원 규모의 투자양해각서(MOU)를 체결했다.
이번 협약으로 양 기업은 총 191명의 신규 고용을 창출할 예정이며, 이는 부산 지역경제에 새로운 성장 동력을 제공할 것으로 기대된다.
18일 오전 10시 30분 시청 영상회의실에서 진행된 체결식에는 박형준 시장, 조성현·이문용 ㈜성우하이텍 공동대표, 신동훈 토스씨엑스 대표가 참석했다.
■ 성우하이텍: 440억 원 투자, 미래차 부품 생산시설 신설
㈜성우하이텍은 중국 일부 사업장을 철수하고 국내로 복귀하여, 부산 기장군 장안읍에 440억 원 규모의 미래차 핵심 부품 생산시설을 신설할 계획이다. 이를 통해 30명의 신규 고용이 이루어진다.
성우하이텍은 부산을 대표하는 향토 기업으로, 자동차 차체 부품 분야에서 세계적인 경쟁력을 가진 기업이다. 전기차 경량 차체, 고강도 부품, 배터리팩 케이스(BPC) 제조 기술 등 첨단 전기차 부품 생산에 최적화된 기술력을 보유하고 있다.
이번 투자를 통해 성우하이텍은 부산을 세계 전동화 시장 대응을 위한 핵심 생산기지로 삼을 계획이며, ▲지역 부품업체와의 상생 ▲고급 제조 기술 확산 ▲양질의 일자리 창출 등 지역 자동차 산업 생태계 전반에 긍정적인 효과를 가져올 것으로 기대된다.
■ 토스씨엑스: 17억 원 투자, 차세대 금융 상담센터 조성
토스씨엑스는 해운대구 센텀시티에 17억 원을 투자하여 빅데이터 기반의 차세대 금융 상담 센터를 조성한다. 이 사업을 통해 161명의 지역 인재를 신규 채용할 예정이다.
토스씨엑스는 국내 대표 핀테크 기업 토스(비바리퍼블리카)의 금융 상담 전문 계열사로, 이번 투자를 통해 고객 상담 고도화, 인공지능 학습 자료 구축, 그리고 부산을 기반으로 한 전국 확장 전략의 발판을 마련할 계획이다.
■ 부산시, 전략산업 중심의 혁신 생태계 강화 추진
부산시는 이번 투자 유치를 통해 미래차 및 디지털 금융 산업 등 전략 산업 중심의 신성장 동력 확보에 박차를 가하고 있다. 또한 기회발전특구 지정과 연계해 첨단기술 기반 기업 유치, 고용 창출, 지역 산업 생태계 강화 등을 통해 부산을 세계적 혁신 거점 도시로 육성해 나간다는 방침이다.
박형준 부산시장은 “국내외 불확실한 경제 여건 속에서도 부산에 대한 과감한 투자를 결정한 두 기업에 깊은 감사의 뜻을 전한다”며, “앞으로도 기업이 신뢰하고 선택할 수 있는 부산을 만들기 위해 행정적·정책적으로 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

■ Sungwoo Hitech: KRW 44 Billion Investment in Future Vehicle Parts Plant
Sungwoo Hitech will withdraw part of its operations in China and establish a new production facility in Jangan-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan, investing KRW 44 billion. The facility will produce core components for next-generation mobility, and the company plans to hire 30 new employees.
Sungwoo Hitech is a locally-rooted global leader in automotive body parts and supplies key components to major automakers. The company possesses advanced manufacturing technology for lightweight, high-strength EV structures and battery pack cases (BPC).
This investment positions Busan as a core production base in the global EV market, while also promoting co-growth with local suppliers, the diffusion of advanced manufacturing technology, and the creation of high-quality jobs in the local automotive industry.

■ Toss CX: KRW 1.7 Billion Investment in Next-Gen Financial Contact Center
Toss CX will invest KRW 1.7 billion to establish a big data-based next-generation financial contact center in Centum City, Haeundae-gu. The company plans to hire 161 new local employees as part of the project.
As a financial customer service affiliate of Toss (Viva Republica), Korea’s leading fintech group, Toss CX brings financial expertise and strong brand understanding. The new center will support advanced customer interactions, AI training data development, and serve as a strategic base for nationwide expansion of Toss and its affiliates.
■ Busan Focused on Strategic Industry Growth and Innovation Ecosystem
Through these investments, Busan is accelerating its efforts to nurture future-focused strategic industries, including eco-friendly vehicles and digital finance. The city aims to create a global innovation hub by designating opportunity development zones, attracting cutting-edge tech firms, generating quality jobs, and strengthening the regional industrial ecosystem.
Mayor Park Heong-joon stated, “I sincerely thank both companies for choosing to invest in Busan despite uncertain global trade and domestic economic conditions,” adding, “We will continue to provide strong support to make Busan a city that businesses can trust and choose.”
