【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청이 해외 자매결연 학교 학생들과의 교류를 위해 오는 22~23일 ‘2025 글로벌 교육수도 대구 페스티벌’을 개최한다고 밝혔다
행사에는 네팔과 우즈베키스탄에서 온 학생 18명을 비롯해 대구 학생 31명, 인솔교사 등 68명이 참여한다.
이번 페스티벌은 단순히 대구를 방문하는데 그치는 것이 아니라 대구 학생들과 외국 학생들이 짝을 이뤄 함께 생활하며 서로의 문화를 직접 체험하도록 설계됐다.
경원고와 네팔 학생 10명이, 대건고와 우즈베키스탄 학생 8명이 교류에 나서고, 대구외국어고 학생 2명은 통역과 소통 지원을 맡는다.
첫날인 22일에는 대구시교육청 행복관에서의 오리엔테이션을 시작으로 동화사 탐방과 앞산 케이블카 체험이 이어진다. 이후 대구교육낙동강수련원에서 아이스브레이킹과 레크리에이션으로 교류의 시간을 가진다.
23일에는 국립대구과학관 견학과 수성못 방문 일정을 마친 뒤 폐회한다.
강은희 교육감은 “해외 학생들과 대구 학생들이 함께 어울려 우정을 쌓는 소중한 기회가 될 것”이라며 “앞으로도 다양한 국제교류 프로그램을 통해 대구를 글로벌 교육의 중심지로 만들어가겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 22nd that it will host the "2025 Global Education Capital Daegu Festival" on the 22nd and 23rd to foster exchanges with students from overseas sister schools.

The first day, the 22nd, will begin with an orientation at the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education's Haengbok Hall, followed by a tour of Donghwasa Temple and a cable car ride on Apsan Mountain. The participants will then have an ice-breaking and recreational activity at the Daegu Education Nakdonggang Training Center.
The event will conclude on the 23rd with a tour of the National Daegu Science Museum and Suseong Lake.
Superintendent Kang Eun-hee stated, "This will be a valuable opportunity for international and Daegu students to mingle and build friendships. We will continue to promote various international exchange programs to make Daegu a global hub for education."
