[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 지난 7월 5일부터 8월 24일까지 51일간 광암해수욕장 운영을 성공적으로 마무리했다고 밝혔다.
폭염특보가 지속된 무더운 여름임에도 불구하고, 지난해 대비 28%의 방문객이 증가했으며, 타지역 해수욕장에 비해 소규모 해수욕장임에도 아기자기하게 정비된 해변 시설과 주말 다채로운 행사 등으로 6만9천여 명의 가족단위 시민 및 관광객이 방문하는 창원특례시의 대표 피서지로 자리 잡았다.
