[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] BNK경남은행은 ‘2025년도 금융회사 지역재투자 평가’에서 경남ㆍ울산지역 6년 연속 최고 등급인 ‘최우수 등급’을 받아 경남ㆍ울산 대표 금융기관으로서의 위상을 굳건히 지켰다고 28일 밝혔다.
BNK경남은행은 평가가 시작된 2020년부터 한 해도 놓치지 않고 경남ㆍ울산지역에서 6년 연속 최우수를 획득한 단 하나의 금융기관으로서 독보적인 성과를 이어가고 있다.
특히 울산지역에서는 15개 국내은행 가운데 유일하게 BNK경남은행만 최우수를 받아 눈길을 끌었다.

BNK경남은행은 △지역자금 역외유출 △중소기업 지원 △서민대출 지원 △인프라 투자 △지역금융 지원전략 등 5개 평가 부문에서 높은 점수를 받았다. 지역재투자 평가결과는 금융감독원의 경영실태평가 및 지방자치단체와 지방교육청 금고 선정기준 등에 활용되고 있다.
금융당국은 2018년 10월 지역에서 예금ㆍ적금 등을 수취하는 금융회사가 지역 경제 성장을 지원하도록 유도하기 위해 ‘지역재투자 평가제도’를 도입해 2020년부터 평가를 실시해 왔다.
