【브레이크뉴스 】박영재 기자=주부산중국총영사관이 함께 마련한 ‘한·중 우호의 밤 & 문화예술공연’이 지난 28일 오후 6시 코모도호텔 반월성홀에서 성황리에 열렸다고 경주시가 29일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 한·중 수교 33주년을 기념하고, 오는 10월 경주에서 열릴 2025 APEC 정상 회의 성공 개최를 기원하기 위해 마련됐다.
행사장에는 천르뱌오 주부산중국총영사와 주낙영 경주시장, 이동협 경주시의회 의장, 경북 지역 정·재계 인사, 우호 단체, 교민 등 300여 명이 자리했다.
천르뱌오 총영사는 인사말에서 “문화예술은 마음을 잇는 다리”라며 “오늘의 우정이 내일의 협력으로 이어지고, 다가올 경주 APEC 정상 회의 성공에도 힘이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
주낙영 시장은 “한국과 중국은 오랜 역사를 공유한 이웃이자 미래를 함께 열어갈 동반자”라며 “문화예술을 통해 양국의 우정을 확인하는 뜻 깊은 자리가 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.
무대는 중국의 국악풍화(國樂風華) 민족악단이 열었다. ‘화호월원’, ‘춘강화월야’, ‘경마’ 등 중국 전통음악부터 ‘아리랑’까지, 국경을 넘나드는 선율이 울려 퍼지자 객석에서는 뜨거운 박수가 터져 나왔다.
이어 경주의 우호 도시 양저우시 공연단이 민요와 인형극 ‘창어의 소매 춤’을 선보이며 또 다른 매력을 더했다.
행사에 참석한 시민 홍보단은 “공연을 통해 APEC 개최 도시 경주의 위상을 다시 느꼈다”며 “세계가 주목할 10월이 더욱 기다려진다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
한편 경주시는 이번 행사를 계기로 중국과의 우호 협력을 넓히고, 시민 참여를 통해 APEC 성공 개최의 열기를 확산한다는 방침이다.
