【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=KH한국건강관리협회가 '제30회 KH한국건강관리협회 전국 초등학생 금연 글짓기·그림 공모전' 입상자를 선정했다고 1일 밝혔다.
'건강약속 5가지, 이렇게 실천해요!'를 주제로 진행된 이번 공모전은 건협과 소년한국일보가 공동 주최하고 교육부와 보건복지부가 후원했다.
전국에서 금연을 위한 건강습관, 운동, 비만 예방, 균형 잡힌 식사, 스트레스 관리 등 건강한 생활 전반의 중요성을 다룬 작품들이 총 11,631편 응모됐다.
글짓기 4,720편, 그림 6,911편 가운데 500명이 입상자로 선정됐다.
글짓기 부문 대상은 경기 용인 풍덕초등학교 3학년 신민아 학생이 교육부장관상을 받았다. 금상은 대구 경동초등학교 3학년 김시은 학생과 서울 대광초등학교 6학년 이서우 학생이 수상했다. 은상은 충북 청주 미원초등학교 금관분교 1학년 박소윤 학생 외 4명이 선정됐다.
그림 부문 대상은 경북 경주 황남초등학교 4학년 정아인 학생이 보건복지부장관상을 받았다. 금상은 서울 잠동초등학교 1학년 이시은 학생과 서울 공연초등학교 4학년 윤재인 학생에게 돌아갔다. 은상은 대구 침산초등학교 1학년 안중율 학생 외 4명이 선정됐다.
이외에도 동상 24명, 가작 40명, 장려상 100명, 입선 320명이 선정됐다. 가장 많은 작품을 응모하고 수상자를 배출한 대구 영신초등학교에는 100만 원 상당의 어린이 도서가 부상으로 주어진다.
심사는 아동문학가 이창건, 전병호, 김은실, 이영기, 소년한국일보 서원극 편집인, 건협 강순자 홍보과장과 강필수 국제협력과장 등 7명이 맡았다.
심사위원들은 "글짓기 부문에는 가족이 한마음이 되어 금연과 건강한 생활을 위해 노력하는 모습이 감동적으로 표현된 작품이 많았다"며 "그림 부문에는 틀에 박힌 금연 포스터가 아닌, 생활 속 경험을 개성 있게 풀어낸 작품이 많았다"고 평가했다.

The Korea Health Management Association (KH) announced on the 1st that it has selected the winners of the 30th KH Korea Health Management Association National Elementary School Smoking Cessation Essay and Drawing Contest.
The contest, themed "Five Health Promises, Practice Them This Way!", was co-hosted by the KH Association and the Boy's Korea Daily and sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
A total of 11,631 entries were submitted nationwide, addressing the importance of a healthy lifestyle, including smoking cessation, exercise, obesity prevention, a balanced diet, and stress management.
Of the 4,720 essays and 6,911 drawings submitted, 500 winners were selected.
The grand prize in the essay category went to Shin Min-a, a third-grader from Pungdeok Elementary School in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, who received the Minister of Education Award. Gold prizes went to Kim Si-eun, a third-grader from Gyeongdong Elementary School in Daegu, and Lee Seo-woo, a sixth-grader from Daegwang Elementary School in Seoul. Silver prizes went to Park So-yoon, a first-year student at Geumgwan Branch of Miwon Elementary School in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, and four others.
The grand prize in the drawing category went to Jeong A-in, a fourth-year student at Hwangnam Elementary School in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, who received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award. Gold prizes went to Lee Si-eun, a first-year student at Jamdong Elementary School in Seoul, and Yoon Jae-in, a fourth-year student at Yeonggwang Elementary School in Seoul. Silver prizes went to Ahn Jung-yul, a first-year student at Chimsan Elementary School in Daegu, and four others.
In addition, 24 bronze prize winners, 40 honorable mentions, 100 encouragement prizes, and 320 honorable mentions were selected. Daegu Yeongshin Elementary School, which received the most entries and produced the most winners, will receive a children's book worth 1 million won.
The judges were seven judges: children's literature writers Lee Chang-geon, Jeon Byeong-ho, Kim Eun-sil, and Lee Yeong-gi; Seo Won-geuk, editor-in-chief of the Boy's Korea Daily; Kang Soon-ja, head of the Public Relations Department; and Kang Pil-soo, head of the International Cooperation Department at the Korea Association of Children's Literature.
The judges commented, "In the writing category, there were many moving works that depicted families coming together to quit smoking and live a healthy life," and "In the drawing category, there were many works that uniquely depicted everyday experiences rather than the typical anti-smoking posters."
