[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산 해운대구(구청장 김성수)가 지난 달 29일, 대천공원 인근 좌동2배수지 부지(좌동 1391번지 일원)에 조성한 ‘좌동파크골프장’의 문을 열었다.
이날 개장식에는 시·구의원과 지역 파크골프협회 회원 등 100여 명이 참석해 새 여가공간의 탄생을 함께 축하했다.
해운대구는 지역 어르신과 주민들이 가까운 곳에서 체력 단련과 취미생활을 즐길 수 있도록 유휴부지를 활용해 생활체육시설을 조성했다.
총 4,300㎡ 규모의 부지에 파크골프장 6홀과 퍼팅 연습장 3곳, 휴게 쉼터 등 다양한 편의시설이 마련됐으며, 누구나 자유롭게 이용할 수 있다.
김성수 해운대구청장은 “좌동파크골프장은 단순한 체육시설을 넘어 주민 간 소통과 공동체 의식을 키우는 공간이 될 것”이라며, “앞으로도 주민들이 일상 속에서 쉽게 이용할 수 있는 생활체육 인프라를 꾸준히 확충해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

좌동파크골프장의 개장은 지역 고령층의 건강한 노후생활을 지원하고, 세대 간 여가문화를 확산시키는 계기가 될 것으로 보인다.

The opening ceremony was attended by more than 100 guests, including local council members and members of the Park Golf Association, who gathered to celebrate the launch of this new recreational space for residents.
As part of its ongoing efforts to promote public health and active lifestyles, Haeundae District transformed a 4,300-square-meter idle site into a community sports facility. The newly opened complex includes a 6-hole park golf course, three putting practice areas, and a rest pavilion, all accessible to the general public.
Mayor Kim stated, “The Jwadong Park Golf Course is more than just a sports facility—it’s a space for residents to connect, stay active, and build a stronger sense of community. We will continue to expand accessible fitness spaces within the neighborhoods.”
This initiative is expected to contribute significantly to the health and well-being of senior citizens and foster intergenerational engagement through leisure and sports.
