성기황 경기도의원, 군포소방서 ‘안전환경의 날’ 캠페인 동참

경기도의회 교육기획위원회 성기황 의원(더불어민주당·군포2)이 지난 8월 28일 군포소방서가 주관한 ‘안전환경의 날 캠페인’에 참여해 소방서 관계자, 의용소방대, 119청소년단과 함께 화재 취약지역을 점검했다.

성기황 의원은 상가 밀집 지역을 돌며 에어컨 실외기 주변과 뒷골목에 방치된 가연성 쓰레기를 직접 수거·정비하며 화재 예방의 중요성을 시민들에게 알렸다.

성 의원은 “화재 예방은 일상 속 작은 실천에서 시작된다”며, “무심코 버린 쓰레기가 큰 화재로 이어질 수 있는 만큼 시민들의 안전 의식이 높아져야 한다”고 강조했다.

성기황 의원은 이어서 “정기적인 캠페인을 통해 안전 수칙 준수가 생활화되고 지역사회 전반에 안전 문화가 뿌리내리길 기대한다”고 덧붙였다.

Gyeonggi Provincial Council Education Planning Committee Member Seong Ki-hwang (Democratic Party of Korea, Gunpo 2) participated in the "Safe Environment Day Campaign" hosted by the Gunpo Fire Station on August 28th. He inspected fire-prone areas alongside fire department officials, volunteer firefighters, and the 119 Youth Corps.

Council Member Seong Ki-hwang toured commercial areas, personally collecting and cleaning up combustible waste left around air conditioner outdoor units and in back alleys, raising awareness of the importance of fire prevention.

Council Member Seong Ki-hwang emphasized, "Fire prevention begins with small, everyday actions. Carelessly discarded trash can lead to a major fire, so citizens' safety awareness must be heightened." Rep. Seong added, “I hope that through regular campaigns, compliance with safety rules will become a part of daily life and a safety culture will take root throughout the community.”
