[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원시설공단이 운영하는 창원실내수영장이 일반 시민들을 대상으로 수영 기록 측정 행사를 개최하며, 수영 동호인들의 관심을 모으고 있다.
창원시설공단은 지난해 2급 공인 인증을 받은 우수한 시설을 시민들에게 알림과 동시에 참가자들에게는 자신의 기록을 확인하고 성취감을 느낄 수 있는 기회를 제공하기 위해 마련되었다.
이번 행사는 과거 수영장 회원들을 대상으로 무료로 진행되었으나, 올해부터는 유료(참가비 8,000원)로 확대되어 전국의 중학생 이상이라면 누구나 참여할 수 있다.
행사는 오는 28일 오전 9시 ~ 오후 6시까지이며, 참가자가 자유형, 배영, 평영, 접영 중 2개 종목을 선택해 50m 기록을 측정한다. 실제 수영대회에서 사용되는 공식 계측 장비를 사용해 정확성을 높였다.
