[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 제30회 부산국제영화제가 야외극장에서 상영될 ‘오픈 시네마’ 섹션의 선정작 8편을 공개했다.
작품성과 대중성을 겸비한 화제작들로 구성된 이번 라인업은 늦여름 밤, 4천 석 규모의 영화의전당 야외극장에서 관객들에게 특별한 영화적 경험을 선사할 예정이다.
다채로운 장르의 신작과 화제작
올해 오픈 시네마에는 해외 유수의 영화제에서 주목받은 작품부터 전 세계 최초로 공개되는 신작까지 다양한 영화가 포함됐다.

일본의 명배우 와타나베 켄과 청춘스타 사카구치 켄타로의 연기 대결이 기대되는 미스터리 스릴러로, 부산국제영화제에서 최초로 공개된다.

전설적인 액션 스타 성룡과 양가휘가 출연하는 액션 대작으로, K-팝 그룹 세븐틴의 멤버 준이 범죄 조직원으로 특별 출연해 팬들의 기대를 모으고 있다.

영화 <바람>(2009)의 이야기를 잇는 신작으로, 청춘들의 우정과 꿈을 야외극장의 스크린에 담아낸다.

▲<오빠를 들고 갈 수 있는 사이즈로> (나카노 료타 감독): 배우 시바사키 코우와 오다기리 조가 출연하여 가족의 이별을 따뜻하고 유머러스하게 그려낸 영화.
특별한 이벤트와 야외 상영
애니메이션과 고전 명작도 야외에서 관람하는 특별한 기회가 마련된다.
▲<아르코> (우고 비엔베누 감독): 칸영화제에 소개된 뒤 안시 국제애니메이션 영화제에서 최고상을 수상한 작품으로, 배우 나탈리 포트만이 제작에 참여했다.
▲<퐁네프의 연인들> (레오스 카락스 감독): 아름다운 파리를 배경으로 한 레오스 카락스 감독의 명작으로, 특별전의 주인공인 배우 줄리엣 비노쉬가 직접 참석해 관객들과 만나는 특별한 시간을 가질 예정이다.
‘오픈 시네마’ 상영작은 오는 18일부터 25일까지 매일 저녁 8시, 영화의전당 야외극장에서 상영된다. 티켓 예매는 5일 오후 2시부터 부산국제영화제 공식 홈페이지에서 온라인으로 진행된다.

<Final Piece> (directed by Kumazawa Naoto): A mystery thriller starring renowned Japanese actor Ken Watanabe and rising star Kentaro Sakaguchi. It will have its world premiere at BIFF.
<Tale of the Storm> (directed by Larry Yang): An action blockbuster starring legendary action stars Jackie Chan and Tony Leung Ka-fai. K-pop group Seventeen's member Jun makes a special appearance as a member of a criminal organization, adding an extra layer of excitement for fans.
<Jjangu> (directed by Jung Woo and Oh Seong-ho): A new film that continues the story of the popular 2009 Korean movie Wish, exploring themes of youth, friendship, and dreams.
Works by Asian Stars and Legendary Directors
Audiences will also get to see films from top Asian stars and world-renowned directors.
<Forever Love> (directed by Kung Hsiu-ping): A fantasy romance starring Greg Hsu and Angela Yuan, who gained immense popularity from the hit series Someday or One Day (2019).
<5 Centimeters Per Second> (directed by Okuyama Yoshiyuki): A live-action adaptation of the beloved animated film by director Makoto Shinkai.
<The Size of a Brother to Carry> (directed by Ryota Nakano): Starring Ko Shibasaki and Joe Odagiri, this film offers a warm and humorous take on a family's farewell.
Special Events and Outdoor Screenings
The festival provides a unique opportunity to watch animated and classic masterpieces outdoors.
<Arco> (directed by Ugo Bienvenu): An animated feature that premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and won the top prize at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. The film, about a time traveler named Arco and Iris, who dreams of a beautiful future for Earth, was produced by actress Natalie Portman.
<The Lovers on the Bridge> (directed by Leos Carax): A screening of Leos Carax's classic masterpiece, set against the backdrop of Paris. Actress Juliette Binoche, one of the featured guests of this year's special exhibition, will personally meet with the audience for a special Q&A session.
The 'Open Cinema' screenings will be held nightly from September 18 to September 25 at 8 PM at the Busan Cinema Center's outdoor theater. Ticket reservations will begin online on September 5 at 2 PM KST via the official BIFF website.
