브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성전자는 2025년형 OLED(SF95) TV가 독일 시험·인증 전문 기관인 VDE(Verband der Elektrotechnik)로부터 ‘리얼 블랙(Real Black certification)’ 인증을 획득했다고 8일 밝혔다.
글레어 프리 기술을 통해 진정한 ‘리얼 블랙’ 시청 환경을 구현했다는 것을 의미한다. 글레어 프리는 햇빛이 강한 낮이나 조명 아래에서도 빛 반사 걱정 없이 생생한 영상을 구현하는 기술이다. 2025년형 삼성 OLED TV는 글레어 프리 2.0 기술이 적용돼 더욱 개선된 빛 반사 제어가 가능하다.
이번 VDE의 리얼 블랙 인증은 △화면 시청 중 조명 비침으로 인한 시청 방해 수준 △글레어 프리가 적용된 TV 화면 표면 광택도 수준 △블랙 레벨 성능에 대한 표준 등 3가지 테스트를 했다.
삼성 OLED TV는 모든 기준을 충족해 블랙 레벨이 업계 최고 수준임을 입증했다.
삼성 OLED TV는 밝은 환경에서는 빛 반사 없이 생생한 화면을 구현하고, 어두운 곳에서도 0.005니트 이하 수준의 블랙 휘도를 구현해 완전한 블랙에 가까운 ‘리얼 블랙’이라는 평가를 받았다.
아울러 삼성전자 2025년형 OLED TV는 업계 최초로 AMD ‘프리싱크 프리미엄 프로(FreeSync Premium Pro)’ 인증을 받았다.
최근 엔비디아 ‘지싱크 호환’ 인증에 더해 이번 VDE ‘리얼 블랙’ 인증까지 추가해 최적의 게이밍 경험과 프리미엄 TV 시청 경험을 제공한다.
삼성전자 설훈 독일 CE Division장은 “리얼 블랙 인증 획득을 통해 사용자들에게 더욱 생생하고 몰입감 있는 시청 경험을 제공할 수 있게 됐다”고 말했다.
