선린대학교, 제15회 창업경진대회 시상식 성료

【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=선린대학교(총장 곽진환)는 지난 11일, 교내 믿음관 앞 특설무대에서 ‘제15회 선린 창업경진대회’ 시상식을 개최했다.

올해 대회에는 총 14개 팀(35명)이 참가해 창의적 아이디어와 사업성을 겨루었다. 심사는 대구 청년창업사관학교 박삼권 교수 등 외부 창업 전문가들이 맡아, 서류와 발표 심사를 통해 창의성, 실현 가능성, 시장성, 발표력 등을 종합적으로 평가했다. 그 결과 최종 5개 팀이 수상자로 선정됐다.

최우수상은 ‘스프링 리트렉터 구조가 적용된 수액 라인 정리 기구: Line Tidy-R’ 아이템을 선보인 기승전UP팀이 차지했으며, 우수상에는 근본있조팀과 널스링크팀, 장려상에는 SAS팀과 창창하조팀이 각각 선정됐다. 최우수상 수상자에게는 상금 100만 원이, 수상자 전원에게는 상장과 상금이 수여됐다.

대상을 수상한 기승전UP팀 대표 신자민 학생은 “학교 창업 프로그램을 통해 아이디어를 구체화하고 멘토링으로 사업성을 발전시킬 수 있었다”며 “이 성과는 학교와 멘토님 덕분”이라고 소감을 밝혔다.

곽진환 총장은 축사를 통해 “이번 대회는 학생들의 창의성과 도전 정신을 확인할 수 있었던 뜻깊은 자리”라며 “앞으로도 혁신적 아이디어가 실제 창업으로 이어지도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 선린대학교는 전문대학 혁신지원사업과 RISE(지역혁신중심대학 지원체계) 사업을 기반으로 창업동아리, 특강, 멘토링 프로그램 등을 운영하며 학생들의 창업 역량을 키워왔다. 또한 지역 창업 생태계 활성화에도 기여하며 창의적 인재 양성과 지역 혁신 성장을 선도하고 있다.

Sunlin University Holds Awards Ceremony for 15th Startup Competition

Sunlin University (President Kwak Jin-hwan) held the awards ceremony for the 15th Sunlin Startup Competition on the 11th at a special stage in front of the campus's Faith Building.

A total of 14 teams (35 participants) participated in this year's competition, competing with creative ideas and business viability. Judges, including Professor Park Sam-kwon of the Daegu Youth Entrepreneurship Academy, were external entrepreneurship experts. The judges comprehensively evaluated the teams' creativity, feasibility, marketability, and presentation skills through document and presentation reviews. As a result, five teams were selected as winners.

The Grand Prize went to Team Ki-seung-jeon UP for their "Line Tidy-R," a line management device featuring a spring retractor structure. Excellence Awards went to Team Geun-geun-it-jo and Team Nursing Link, while Encouragement Awards went to Team SAS and Team Chang-chang-ha-jo. The grand prize winner received a cash prize of 1 million won, and all winners received a certificate and prize money.

Shin Ja-min, the representative of the "GiseungjeonUP" team that won the grand prize, said, "Through the school's entrepreneurship program, I was able to concretize my idea and develop it into a business through mentoring. I thank the school and my mentors for this achievement."

President Kwak Jin-hwan said in his congratulatory remarks, "This competition was a meaningful opportunity to demonstrate the students' creativity and spirit of challenge. We will continue to actively support them so that their innovative ideas can lead to actual startups."

Meanwhile, Sunlin University has been developing students' entrepreneurial capabilities through entrepreneurship clubs, special lectures, and mentoring programs, based on the Junior College Innovation Support Project and the RISE (Regional Innovation-Oriented University Support System) program. The university is also contributing to the revitalization of the local entrepreneurship ecosystem, fostering creative talent and leading the way in regional innovation and growth.
