유영일 경기도의원, 인덕원 ‘인텐스퀘어(IntenSquare)’ 착공식 참석

경기도의회 도시환경위원회 유영일 부위원장(국민의힘, 안양5)이 지난 9월 16일 열린 인덕원 도시개발사업 ‘인텐스퀘어(IntenSquare)’ 착공식에 참석했다.

인덕원 도시개발사업은 단순 주거단지를 넘어 교통·교육·문화·환경이 어우러지는 미래형 복합도시로 조성된다. ‘인텐스퀘어’라는 이름 아래, 강남·판교 등 주요 생활권과 ‘10분 안(in ten)’에 연결되는 환승·주거·일자리·문화 활동이 가능한 스마트 콤팩트시티(Compact City)를 목표로 한다.

유영일 의원은 2022년부터 사업 과정에서 제기된 보상 문제 해결과 주민 의견 반영을 위해 경기주택도시공사(GH) 및 경기도와 지속적으로 협의해 왔다. 특히 2023년 도시환경위원장 시절에는 GH에 주민 요구를 공식 전달하고 보상처를 직접 방문해 합리적인 보상 기준 마련과 생활대책 강화를 촉구하는 등 주민 권익 보호에 앞장섰다.

또한 기회타운 조성 추진 상황을 점검하며 지역 발전과 주민 삶의 질 개선을 위한 제도적 기반 마련에도 힘써왔다.

Yoo Young-il (People Power Party, Anyang 5), Vice Chairman of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council's Urban Environment Committee, attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Indeokwon Urban Development Project.

The Indeokwon Urban Development Project will go beyond a simple residential complex and become a futuristic, multi-functional city that integrates transportation, education, culture, and the environment. Under the name "IntenSquare," the goal is to create a smart, compact city that connects major residential areas like Gangnam and Pangyo "within 10 minutes" and offers transportation, housing, jobs, and cultural activities. 

Since 2022, he has been in continuous consultation with the Gyeonggi Housing & Urban Corporation (GH) and Gyeonggi Province to resolve compensation issues raised during the project and reflect residents' opinions. In particular, as the Chairperson of the Urban Environment Committee in 2023, he took the lead in protecting residents' rights by officially conveying residents' demands to GH and personally visiting the compensation office to urge the establishment of reasonable compensation standards and strengthened livelihood measures.
