이번 기념식에서는 지난 11년간 HWPL이 추진해 온 평화 사업의 성과와 비전이 공유됐다. 특히 눈에 띄는 성과는 ‘지구촌 전쟁종식 평화 선언문(DPCW)’에 대한 국제적 지지 확산이다.
라틴아메리카·카리브의회(PARLATINO)와 파라과이, 도미니카공화국, 남수단 등 17개 국가 및 국제기구에서 DPCW 지지 결의안이 통과되면서 분쟁을 예방하고 해결하기 위한 제도적 기반이 강화됐다.
